Dear Linda Anne,

I want to once again thank you for your incredible warmth & support. I can’t really explain how much you have helped - just knowing someone cared enough to listen, helped immeasurably during an incredibly scary time.

And now I "won" a massage! I am so ecstatic and sooo looking forward to this treat - I even called my mom and every friend to exalt! Really, that was a kindness above and beyond the call of duty. I wish I knew another way to say "thank you" because the words just don’t seem enough.

I didn’t know how I could possibly re-pay you. These cookies come from my heart - if you remember when you gave me the lymphatic massage, I told you that you had brought me back to a "good place" since you had made me smell like my mother’s old orange oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I know you don’t eat sweets, but at least I made these with brown sugar only, and with organic eggs and oatmeal. Maybe you can eat just one?
