Botox® and Restylane® are two products that allow for non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Wrinkles are caused by the movement of the muscles under the skin. Injecting Botox® allows selective paralysis of those muscles providing a smoother more youthful look. It will not be as effective for wrinkles that appear at rest, but will diminish wrinkles caused by muscle movement. It is particularly useful for wrinkles between the eyebrows, on the forehead, and the crow’s feet area.
